The composition of earcushion is differently according to their design of headphones and accoustic requirement. But mostly here are the regular components of earcushion: Leather over the top, sewed together is a cloth with L/R marks, Memory foam, and some times there are, a panel to connect to the earcap, a foam pad and a EVA sealing ring.
According to the design and budget requirement, there are selections for the materials as well:
1, Artificial Leather Cushions
1) High quality protain leather: Price is only less than real skin leather, soft touch, Moisture-proof, good air permeability, comfortable. Some of our high end quality headphones will use this one.
2) Artificial protein leather: Most mid-high end range of headphones will choose this level of leather for cushions. Very good reliability, softer and more comfortable than PU leather.
3) Ordinary PU leather: There are Dry PU, Wet PU, "imitate Frog skin" PU leather, etc.
2, Real Leather Cushions. Usually the upper part is realy leather, and mix with artifitial leather beneath. Some are goat skin and some are sheep skin, but these are not being used on any of our products. We already take high quality artificial leather for making high qaulity headphones, and that meet requirement of high quality and sustainable.
